I think the Secret garden in Melle does a veggie burger and also the Auberge de Noyer near Montjean/Sauzé-Vaussais does some good vegetarian meals.

I've ha a burger at the walnut tree place but I found one time we had home made onion rings then the next time they were frozen shop bought ones? I was well deisappointed the second time!
